APIIC lists these estates in and around Tada and Naidupeta:

• SEZ Naidupeta: an APIIC multi-product special economic zone. APIIC lists it as an operational mega park of 2,549.79 acres gross, with 2,086.04 acres saleable and 575.70 acres allotted. Its environmental clearance covers land in Dwarakapuram, Palepolam, Manakur and Konetirajupalem villages of Naidupeta and Pellakur mandals.
• IP Naidupet: an operational mega park of 1,600.65 acres gross, with 1,229.65 acres saleable and 668.36 acres allotted, at Menakuru and Konetirajupalem villages in Naidupeta mandal. The 2015 project summary for its environmental clearance planned mainly chemicals, pharma and bulk drugs, textiles, engineering, glass and cement-based products.
• IP Mambattu: in Mambattu village, Tada mandal. Phase I is an operational MSME park of 72.20 acres gross. Phase II is an operational large park of 911.15 acres gross, with 869.81 acres saleable and 852.10 acres allotted.
• IP Tada: an operational large park of 136.67 acres gross, with 100.82 acres saleable and 72.59 acres allotted.
• IP Attivaram: at Attivaram village in Ozili mandal, an operational large park of 406.26 acres gross, with 314.56 acres saleable and 271.25 acres allotted.

Your electricity supply and tariff

Tada and Naidupeta are served by APSPDCL, Operation Circle, Tirupati. Naidupeta has its own operation division in the circle. Its Naidupeta sub-division covers the Naidupeta Town, Naidupeta Rurals, Pellakur, Ozili and D.V. Satram sections, and Tada is a section under the Sullurpeta sub-division. APSPDCL moved these sections from its Nellore circle to the Tirupati circle in November 2024.

Tariffs are set by APERC's retail supply tariff order for FY 2026-27, dated 25 March 2026, which applies from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027.

• Factories: most are billed under Category III(A) Industry (General), on LT or HT supply.
• Shops and offices: generally Category II(A) Commercial on LT supply, or II(A)(i) Commercial on HT supply.

Your electricity bill shows your category and your contracted load. We size the plant from the bill, because the rooftop plant is limited to your contracted load or demand.

How a business rooftop plant gets approved in Andhra Pradesh

The steps below are set by APERC's rooftop solar regulation (Regulation No. 4 of 2023, as amended by Regulation No. 10 of 2025). The working-day limits are the regulation's; real cases can take longer.

1. Application to APSPDCL. Filed on the AP DISCOMs' website, through a MeeSeva centre or on the national rooftop solar portal. The fee is nil up to 5 kWp, ₹1,000 above 5 and up to 100 kWp, and ₹10,000 above 100 and up to 1,000 kWp.
2. Technical feasibility. APSPDCL checks the network: within 7 working days on LT, 15 working days on 11 kV or 33 kV, and 30 working days on EHT.
3. Agreement. The net-metering agreement is signed within 4 months of feasibility approval.
4. Installation. The plant is installed within 3 months of the agreement for plants up to 100 kWp, or 6 months for 101 to 1,000 kWp.
5. Electrical Inspectorate. Under the CEA safety regulations of 2023, generating units above the capacity set by the state are inspected by the Electrical Inspector before commissioning.
6. Inspection and commissioning. APSPDCL inspects within 10 working days of the completion report, synchronises the plant within 7 working days after that, and issues a commissioning certificate.

Under the same regulation, net metering is available from 1 kW to 500 kW, net billing up to 1,000 kW and gross metering up to 5,000 kW. We prepare and file the paperwork for each step with you.
